| As the name suggests, this product family has many quality features that are preferred by one-piece system users. All Premier pouches include our Flextend extended wear skin barrier. The Flextend barrier has a beige porous cloth tape for additional support and discretion. Premier products have our exclusive odour barrier, rustle free pouch material. All pouches have a beige, body-side pouch panel for comfort. |
 |
| NOTE: The use of skin wipes is NOT recommended under Flextend as it may decrease the expected wear time of the barrier. |

Drainable Pouches
A pouch that opens from the bottom to empty the contents. A drainable pouch requires some type of clamp on the bottom to keep it closed. A person with a colostomy or ileostomy (NOT a urostomy) would use this type of pouch. |

Closed Pouches
Closed pouches are not available in the Premier family. |
 |
Urostomy Pouches
This type of pouch has a drain valve or spout at the end since it is designed to drain liquid contents (usually urine) from a pouch. A person with a urostomy or urinary diversion would use this type of pouch. |
 |
| Some reasons for selecting a Premier One-Piece Pouching System |
- Consistency of discharge is mushy to liquid
- Need convexity for a flush or retracted stoma
- Prefer a cloth-like pouch panel for comfort
- Prefer longer wear times of pouches
- Urostomy stomas
