Senior Manager, Global Marketing, Ostomy

I spent most of my life in Canada before moving to Seattle, Washington to work at a start-up medical device company. When I received a call from a recruiter about Hollister Incorporated, my first thought was that I wasn’t excited about moving to the Chicago area for a company I didn’t know. But with every step in the interview process, it became clear that Hollister has a unique culture that’s hard to duplicate. So four years ago, I packed my bags.
In my first role, I was given the responsibility of managing a new research and development team specifically focused on product innovation. Later, I transitioned into global marketing and am currently a senior global marketing manager responsible for our global ostomy brand. The nature of ostomy medical devices is tremendously intimate. That’s why one of the most rewarding things about my role is that I personally get to know the challenges of our customers around the world.
