"Reaching Out"
World Ostomy Day will be celebrated this year on October 3rd in the United States. The theme for World Ostomy Day 2009 is Reaching Out!
The focus of World Ostomy Day is to help improve the lives of people who have ostomies--and their families--by bringing an awareness of their needs and aspirations to the global community.
Hollister is proud to support World Ostomy Day 2009 by sponsoring the International Photo Contest--from which 20 international winners will be chosen.
Contest judges include a panel of professional graphic designers and photographers--including Richard Izui, internationally known Chicago-based photographer. Click this link to go to the Izui Photography website: www.izui.com
All winning photographers will receive a certificate of recognition and each International Ostomy Association (IOA) chapter represented by the photographer will receive $250.
