What a difference an A makes.
The Hollister cookout gets an A+ from attendees.
The first-ever National UOAA Conference was held at the Lincolnshire Marriott in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The conference theme was What a difference an A makes, and Hollister employees certainly had fun incorporating the theme throughout the conference.
The conference officially started with a bang on August 15--with a cookout at Hollister for all UOAA conference attendees. Over 350 people with ostomies attended the dinner event. Upon coming to Hollister, everyone was greeted by a famous A at Hollister, Chairman Al Herbert, in an address to the UOAA, which then led into an overview about Hollister.
Guests then proceeded to the cookout where they enjoyed food and live music. People had the opportunity to tour Research and Development, the Consumer Programs Department, and the beautiful gallery of art at Hollister. Over 60 Hollister employees mingled with guests and felt truly honored to meet everyone from the UOAA.
Hollister has received wonderful feedback through phone calls and letters from those that attended the dinner event. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the UOAA--to continue to 'Make a Difference' in the lives of people with ostomies, stated Heather Czarnetzki, Senior Ostomy Product Manager.
