Product Migration
While Hollister has been manufacturing some of our older, legacy products for many years, these products often lack many of the value-added features that often help to significantly improve quality of life. The purpose of this section is to help you to find the most appropriate upgraded alternative to your current product.
KEY CONSIDERATIONS
  1. The following Product Migration is for reference only. At this point, Hollister does NOT have plans to discontinue the legacy products, such as CenterPointLock Two-Piece Pouching System and Karaya One-Piece Pouching System.

  2. The following product brands are Hollister's focus products and feature our most advanced technology:
    • New Image Two-Piece Pouching System
    • Premier One-Piece Pouching System
    • Adapt Accessories

  3. When attempting to migrate from a legacy product to a focus product, it is important to realize that such a transition often cannot be made with a one-to-one match. Thus, more than one option should be considered, and all product features must be reviewed. (Example: Suggested product may have a different skin barrier, or some pre-sized conversions may result in a cut-to-fit product.)

  4. With Two-Piece product conversions, first select an appropriate skin barrier and then choose an appropriate pouch.
    • Flange sizes may change in some instances.
    • Flange sizes must match with the barrier and pouch selected, i.e. green to green.
    • New Image pouches must be used with New Image skin barriers. They can not be used with CenterPointLock.

  5. Regarding drainable pouches, Hollister's focus is on drainable pouches that feature the Lock 'n Roll integrated closure system. Drainable pouches with a traditional pouch clamp may, however, be more appropriate for certain people, depending on their individual product needs.
