Hollister Incorporated announced its second annual Sustainability Report is now available. As The Company’s Mission is to make life more rewarding and dignified for the people who use its products and services, Hollister recognizes the connection to this and its commitment to preserving the planet, advancing associates, and caring for customers and communities.

The 2022 Sustainability Report communicates Hollister‘s progress under the pillars of Environment, Social, and Governence (ESG) and demonstrates our progress since 2021. Using global data and case studies from several countries, it showcases the crucial work Hollister has achieved but what also lies ahead.

2022 Highlights:

  • Reduced Scope 1 (direct emissions) and Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased electricity) greenhouse gas emissions intensity across our manufacturing sites by more than 30% (market based) from 2019 baseline year.
  • Reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions across distribution sites by 6% (market based) from 2019 baseline year.
  • Successfully diverted 75% of total waste from landfill.
  • Proudly launched the first Employee Resource Group, the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN), in the U.S., U.K., and Ireland.  An unwavering focus on safety led to the successful launch of a Hand Safety Program, resulting in a Hollister best safety performance rate (OSHA recordable injury rate improved to 0.81).
  • Committed to giving back, Hollister provided more than $1.2 Million to nonprofit partners in 2022, including ongoing investment in Adapted Athletics.

“Our 2022 Sustainability Report showcases the strides we have made and reinforces our commitment to driving positive change,“ said Shane Caher, Vice President Global Ostomy Manufacturing. “The importance of being a good steward is not only critical given current global events, but is inherent to our Immutable Principles and will lead us on the path of future progress.“
