Hollister Incorporated Named a NOVAKIDS Signature Supplier to Expand Access to Pediatric Ostomy Products

August 10, 2015 - Hollister Incorporated, a global healthcare products and services company, has been awarded a Signature Supplier contract in Novation's NOVAKIDSTM Novation's Pediatric Supply Chain Program to provide pediatric patients in hospitals around the United States with ostomy products, educational materials and support services.

NOVAKIDS brings together quality pediatric products and services offered throughout Novation’s national contracts and programs into a highly focused solution. NOVAKIDS provides support that helps the members and affiliates Novation serves to significantly enhance organizational effectiveness, reduce supply spend and advance supply chain efficiencies that lead to extraordinary care for the smallest patients.

Education and support services for as long as needed
Additionally, Hollister Incorporated offers a variety of education options, like Shadow Buddies. These instructional dolls are specially made for children who have had or will have ostomy surgery. They are a great teaching tool to help with education and care giving.

Throughout their care, patients and families have access to Secure Start services from Hollister Incorporated. The service provides personalized support for every patient along the continuum of care for as long as needed. Enrollment gives families access to: 

  • Dedicated support from a Secure Start Lifetime Service Coordinator 
  • Supplier options and insurance education based on needs 
  • Customized resources, including access to a Secure Start Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) nurse
