Joined Hollister Incorporated in 2009

You can be yourself at Hollister. I can’t imagine working anywhere else.


I learned about Hollister Incorporated from a high school friend whose mother worked at Hollister.  She loved it and had great things to say about the company. In 2009, when I graduated from college, Hollister had openings in Secure Start services, a support service for people who use our ostomy and continence care products, and that’s where I started. It was inspiring to connect with the people who use our products and hear their stories. I got excited that I worked somewhere that could actually make a difference in people’s lives.

After a year, I was promoted to acute care coordinator, responsible for educating nurses about our Secure Start services. One of the great things about Hollister is that it is always interested in helping you explore your career path. When I expressed an interest in working on the Global Events Marketing team four years ago, my manager arranged for me to enroll in classes and work on projects in that department. When an exhibit and meeting planner position opened up in Global Events, I applied and got the job. It’s my responsibility to make sure Hollister Associates have successful meetings—whether it’s a sales meeting, product launch or trade show. We work to take their vision and exceed their expectations.

Recently I completed my certification in trade show management and I am working now on finishing my certification in meeting planning. Whatever additional education I feel would help me do my job better—to be a better resource to the business units I work with—I know that Hollister will support me.

At Hollister, you always have access to senior management and are encouraged to speak up. It’s a very open atmosphere. You can be yourself here.  I’ve never worked anywhere else and I can’t imagine not working at Hollister. And after working here for as long as I have, I believe everyone at Hollister has that same sense of loyalty, too.
