About Graeme:

Graeme lived for decades with familial polyposis syndrome – an inherited disorder that leads to polyps inside the gastrointestinal tract. When his polyps grew too large and numerous to be removed by standard procedures, he decided to undergo ileostomy surgery. Afterwards, he began the process of adapting to his new stoma. He learned how to manage his diet, developed a pouching routine, and overcame some initial struggles with skin irritation. Graeme is now living a confident and happy life with his wife, their four grown children, their grandchild, puppies Marilyn and Mavis, and kittens Priscilla, Poppy, and Pippa.
